International oil prices rose by over 1%. Hong Kong Radio reported that the United States has requested vessels flying its flag to stay away from Iranian territorial waters. London Brent crude oil closed at $69.04 per barrel, up $0.99, an increase of nearly 1.5%. New York crude oil was reported at $64.36 per barrel, up $0.81, an increase of 1.3%.
