Builders need confidence that their contributions can be verified. Operators need confidence that machines can act within known limits. Users need confidence that systems can be audited. Regulators need confidence that oversight isn’t just symbolic. Communities need confidence that machine deployment won’t become a one-way imposition. Without those bridges, robotics stays fragmented. Impressive, maybe. Useful in pockets, sure. But structurally brittle.
