There was a rather humorous incident recently involving the well known native doctor, Mmuo Mmili Afuluanya. Following his apprehension by the Agunechemba security forces operating under Charles Soludo, the officers accompanied him directly to his personal shrine. While there, they issued a simple challenge, asking the traditional practitioner to summon his Eze Nwanyi to provide concrete proof that his juju was genuinely effective.
The native doctor proceeded to perform an array of intense incantations, engaging in what one might playfully describe as a deep spiritual network search. However, despite his earnest and dramatic efforts, the highly acclaimed Eze Nwanyi completely failed to manifest or show the slightest sign of presence.
Rising to his feet with clear disappointment written on his face, he accepted the reality of the situation. The security personnel then courteously guided him away from the shrine and escorted him straight back into prison custody.

This entire entertaining scenario strongly brings to mind the classic historical account of Elisha challenging the 450 prophets of Baal.
