Currently, the standard model for cross-chain bridges requires users to place their confidence in just 5 individuals and their private keys. We are moving away from that model by designing a system that is completely free of trusted intermediaries. Instead, our team is developing a seamless connection that relies on strict mathematics to demonstrate the accurate completion of IoTeX consensus, which is subsequently validated directly on the Ethereum network. To make this a reality, we are collaborating alongside the @ethereum Foundation and expanding upon existing Native Rollup research.
