I just watched a video on IG and the doctor says that BBL is safer than CS, is safer than doing appendix surgery and many other procedures

That comparison makes no sense to me

A Caesarean Section is not a cosmetic choice. It is a life-saving medical intervention used when a mother or baby is in danger during childbirth.

A BBL is an elective cosmetic surgery done to enhance body shape.

So why are we even comparing the two?

One procedure exists because childbirth can become medically complicated and sometimes deadly. The other exists because people want a different body shape.

When doctors start framing serious medical procedures like C-sections as something to measure against cosmetic surgery, it sends the wrong message about what women go through during childbirth.

Many mothers and babies are alive today because of C-sections.

Maybe the real question should be this:

Why are we normalizing comparisons between life-saving surgery and cosmetic enhancement in the first place?
