Putting robots into the real world makes the gap wider, because data comes from sensors and networks that can drop mid stream. Fabric Protocol tries to close that gap with task verification, turning physical outcomes into evidence that can be checked again, instead of relying on a device report.
I often picture a self checkout counter, a receipt does not prove you scanned everything, it only proves the machine printed. To be sure, you need cross checks from the scale, the camera, and the actual items in the bag.
The durability test is whether the system still holds when data is missing, hardware gets swapped, and disputes happen. When I look at Fabric Protocol, I care about robot identity bound to hardware that is hard to fake, proofs that are signed and time stamped, cross validation from multiple sources, a challenge window with stake and penalties, and replay protection so cheating is not cheap.
If a mechanism rewards signals, robots will learn to optimize signals. I only trust designs where rewards follow results, and truth always has a path back.
