📊 BHP Executive Considered for Woodside CEO Role
The president of BHP’s Australian operations, Geraldine Slattery, is reportedly one of the leading candidates to become the next CEO of Woodside Energy, according to a Bloomberg report.
⚡ Woodside is searching for a new chief executive after its previous CEO, Meg O’Neill, left the company to take the top leadership role at BP, starting in April 2026.
👥 Slattery is not the only candidate. Acting CEO Liz Westcott and other internal executives are also being considered as the company decides who will lead the energy giant in the future.
🚀 Woodside is expected to announce its new permanent CEO soon, as the company prepares to manage major energy projects and continue expanding its global operations.
