With the release of Holochain 0.6.1, we are circling back to our roots and embracing the QUIC protocol. ⚡ This standard is built to function as a high-throughput, low-ceremony alternative to WebRTC and HTTP. Although we explored this path in the past, the available third-party libraries were simply too immature. Today, enabled by Iroh, QUIC is living up to its name and is genuinely fast.
