The idea? A powerful enough quantum computer could theoretically crack Bitcoin’s cryptography.
But here’s the reality: Today’s quantum machines are nowhere near the scale required to break Bitcoin’s SHA-256 or ECDSA encryption.
This is a long-term discussion — not an imminent threat.
