Bridgewater Associates has disclosed its latest U.S. stock holdings report, revealing significant changes in its investment strategy during the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2022. According to Jin10, the firm increased its stakes in popular AI stocks such as Nvidia (NVDA.O), Amazon (AMZN.O), and Micron Technology (MU.O). Additionally, Bridgewater capitalized on rising gold prices by boosting its investment in Newmont Corporation, one of the world's largest gold producers.

The report indicates that Bridgewater's total portfolio value rose to approximately $27.4 billion, up from $25.5 billion in the previous quarter. During the third quarter, the firm added 191 new positions and increased its holdings in 450 stocks. Conversely, Bridgewater reduced its stakes in 395 stocks and completely exited 165 positions.
