Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic management plan ahead of the Eid shopping rush, deploying extra personnel and imposing restrictions on rickshaws, taxis, and commercial vehicles near busy markets.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Syed Pir Muhammad Shah said section officers and traffic staff will manage traffic daily from 7 pm until late at night at major shopping centers. Rickshaws and taxis will be restricted between Allah Wali Chowrangi and Ittehad Signal, while commercial vehicles will use alternate routes via Noorani Signal, Medi Care, and Shahrah-e-Millat Road.
