The moment I paused while exploring @MidnightNetwork was when I realized its idea of privacy is not treated as an optional feature but as a default environment.
Most blockchains speak about transparency first and privacy later, usually through add ons or advanced tools. Midnight seems to reverse that order. One design choice that stood out to me is how transactions can keep sensitive data hidden while still allowing verification on the network.
It made me think about who actually benefits first from this model developers building privacy sensitive applications or everyday users who simply don’t want their activity permanently exposed. I’m still wondering how that balance will evolve.
