I’ve been noticing how robotics is crossing a turning point. AI systems are learning to navigate complex environments, hardware has become reliable enough to scale, and labor shortages are pressing across industries. To me, this feels like the moment where machines that think, remember, and learn begin working alongside us to solve real challenges.
The challenge is not the robots themselves, it’s the infrastructure. Robots don’t have financial identities, they can’t sign contracts, and they can’t be paid. That keeps them stuck in silos, controlled by a few powerful operators.
Fabric is changing this. By building payment, identity, and coordination rails, Fabric is laying the foundation for the Robot Economy. An open system where anyone can help deploy, coordinate, and benefit from automation. When robots have on‑chain identity and wallets, and when coordination is open for everyone to see, they stop being just tools locked away in silos. They start acting more like participants, able to contribute and help with the challenges we face together.
I want to see a future where robots aren’t just machines in the background but part of the economy, working with humans to build something that feels fair and connected. And honestly, it’s about time we moved in that direction.
What do you guys think ? is the Robot Economy the next big shift in Web3, or will it stay limited to big companies?
