In my understanding, the idea of @Fabric Foundation is that it will no longer be limited to digital systems only.
Currently, we mostly see AI in software tasks, such as text generation, coding or data analysis.
But the next phase may probably be of physical world automation where it will control robots and machines.
This means that it will not only process information but will also start performing real world tasks.
Perhaps this is why the Fabric Foundation is focusing on a network infrastructure that can coordinate robots and intelligent machines in the future.
