Ramadam Kareem — Day 16
Fasting and the Quran will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection.
In the name of Allah, praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said in an authentic Hadith:
‘As-siyamu wal-Qur’anu yashfa’ani lil-’abdi yawmal qiyamah.’
'Fasting and the Quran will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection.’
Both fasting and the Quran seek intercession for a servant on the Day of Resurrection.This shows us that during the month of Ramadan:
During the day: A servant makes an effort to restrain themselves from all their worldly desires through the act of fasting.
During the night: A servant makes an effort to perform night prayers and recite the Holy Quran.
We pray to Allah (SWT) to make us among those whom the Quran and fasting will intercede for on the Day of Judgment.
