🇺🇸🇮🇷 A U.S. Navy MQ-4C Triton surveillance drone reportedly vanished from radar over the Persian Gulf, south of Iran, after broadcasting an emergency signal.
According to FlightRadar24, the drone (reg. 169660, callsign OVRLD1) took off from Abu Dhabi and was flying surveillance patterns at around 32,900 feet when contact was lost.
There are unconfirmed reports that it may have crossed into Iranian airspace.
