Realized something about Vanar’s positioning that clicked for me. They’re not competing with other blockchains for DeFi users or NFT traders.

They’re competing with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure for storage customers who need permanence guarantees those companies can’t provide.

That’s a completely different market. Enterprise clients who care about data sovereignty, long-term archival, and independence from vendor lock-in. Not crypto degenerates chasing yields.

Makes the Worldpay partnership way more strategic. Payment processors dealing with compliance documentation need permanent immutable records. Can’t rely on cloud providers who might change data residency policies or shut down services.
