🇨🇳🔍 Will China Impose Tariffs on the U.S. Too? 🤔

Recent developments point to increased trade tensions between China and the U.S. — so the question arises: Will China retaliate with tariffs?

📌 What’s happening now:
• The U.S. has announced a 100 % tariff on Chinese imports starting November 1, on top of current tariffs. 
• In response, China is already taking countermeasures. It announced port / docking fees for U.S.-owned ships docking in China as retaliation. 
• China has also imposed export controls on rare earths and high-tech materials, which can be seen as part of a broader strategy to leverage its dominance in those sectors. 

⚠️ So yes — China is likely to (and already has begun to) take retaliatory actions.
